We are still working on the site but the concepts are here. Basically, they are:

• The front map to get you started
• Descriptive information organized in a geographic hierarchy
• A catalog of places with built-in active maps

There is a lot of work to do but if you happened upon this, you can see our direction.

What we are not doing is building a discussion site. While the content is not going to be static, it is going to be created and edited by people who are actually in Nicaragua. A good way to think about it is that NicaPlaza is intended to be a reference site. If you are interested in contributing, speak up. We can use all the help we can get.
